DI.FM Maker AudioAddict Releases ‘Fresca Radio’ App Aimed At Latin, Hispanic, And Caribbean Music

The makers of Digitally Imported Radio (DI.FM) have hit the Play Store with another streaming app, and this time they’re out to give fans of Latin, Hispanic, and Caribbean music reason to bob their heads, sway their hips, and tap their toes. The app, Fresca Radio, provides 40 stations filled with curated tracks. There’s a Cuban Lounge station, one for Latin Metal, and another option dedicated entirely to Raggae.

Music streaming apps aren’t such a rarity that they get a shoutout merely for existing. Why Fresca Radio catches our attention is pretty simple. Like DI.FM and the developer’s other releases, basic streaming is free. Listeners get access to all of the stations out of the box. Similarly, the app’s UI is clean and to the point. You have a page for the list of stations, one showing what’s currently playing, and one showing settings. Aside from the banner ads that appear along the button, there’s little to fuss about here.

Though the Fresca Radio app is bare, it provides slightly more than just the essentials. There’s a sleep timer, so music playback can cease after a certain amount of time. For the data conscious, it can songs stream over cellular or Wi-Fi-only, and users can opt for low or medium quality.

Fresca Radio doesn’t cost anything to download, and there are no in-app purchases. If this sounds like music to your ears, you know what to do.
