Version 1.1 Of Dropbox’s Mailbox App Learns How To Handle Spam And Put Annoying Messages In Their Place
This isn’t all the developers have been up to. Mailbox now lets users swipe and hold messages to create automatic patterns (i.e., filters) of what to do with future messages sent to or from a particular email address.
These features are joined by our usual friends “bug fixes” and “performance improvements.” Along with them, we see support for 19 new languages. View the full list in the changelog below.
What’s new:
- Now translated into 19 languages, including Chinese (both Simplified and Traditional), Danish, Dutch, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Spanish (both European and Latin American), Swedish, Thai and English
- Swipe and hold to create an Auto-swipe pattern
- Batch swipe
- Print your emails (Android 4.4 and up)
- View spam and mark messages as spam
- Permanent delete from trash and spam
- Bug fixes and performance improvements
The app is still missing some integration that may prevent certain Gmail users from switching, such as proper label handling, but it still remains a cute option for people looking for something different.
