FotMob’s Latest Version Brings Soccer Scores And Updates To Android Wear Devices
Soccer app FotMob has accrued millions of downloads over the course of its time in the Play Store, and now the popular program is expanding its reach to Android Wear. Its latest version shrinks scores, plays, and other information down enough to fit comfortably on a tiny smartwatch display.
Developer NorApps has released a video of the new feature in action. The functionality looks pretty straightforward: swipe up and down to see various matches, and swipe to the right on any given game to view more details. There wearers can get a miniature play-by-play for each match. The video also shows how notifications disappear from the phone once they’ve been swiped away on the watch.
For people who don’t own one of those fancy smartwatches, this update isn’t a complete wash. The company has also removed ads from FTBpro articles for pro users. It’s not worth pulling out a vuvuzela over, but it’s something.
