Those of you with phones not made by HTC can feel free to continue on to the next post. I’m sorry to have wasted your time… I assume if you are still reading at this point, you own an HTC device. Good, those other phones suck, right? Let’s say nasty things about people who own those phones behind their backs. Before that, there’s an update to BlinkFeed in the Play Store.
 Â
BlinkFeed is, of course, the newsfeed-integrated home screen on HTC’s One devices. Today is the first update the app has gotten through the Play Store since May. Here’s what it includes.
- Subscribe to an event, category or subcategory with a single click.
- Get recommendations for events, topics, and categories based on your preferences
- Tap on a topic title to see all the headlines from that category.
- Bug fixes and performance improvements.
It’ll be interesting to see if the recommendations are, you know, good. If they are, easier subscribing. Neat. The update should be live now in the Play Store for all to enjoy.
